Twas the Night Before Christmas? π I love the older books that have the beautiful illustrations!
I always love reading any book that tells the Christmas Story. β€οΈ
I do too! I love the older books that have such beautiful paintings and illustrations of the manger scene.
It would be a tie between “The Candles” by Hans Christen Andersen and “The Tree that Didn’t Get Trimmed” by Christopher Morley, both from the “Story a Day ‘Til Christmas” book. <3
Oh, Staci, I absolutely love “The Candles”! So beautifully written!
We love Christmas Love Letters from God! π
I must say, I have never read that one. It is now on my “to read” list. Thank you for sharing!
I like ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. And my kids like any Santa book π
I’m sure they love hearing you read it with a voice filled with anticipation of what comes next. π
I have not had any Christmas books. π’
But I loved reading the Christmas story from the Bible with my dad on Christmas morning.
I loved when my dad read the Christmas story from Luke 2 when I was growing up. π We have continued the tradition in our own home.
